When: 12 December, 10.00 – 17.00
Where: Bibliotheek Neude, Neude 11 Utrecht
On Sunday, December the 12th, the library in Utrecht will be the scene of one of Amnesty International’s many Write for Rights actions in celebration of International Human Rights Day. Every year around this day, Amnesty takes action for people who are unjustly imprisoned or threatened because of their work, opinions or because of who they are.
During a Write for Rights action you can write handwritten letters to governments and agencies to help people whose rights have been violated. The thousands of letters written worldwide put enormous pressure on governments to stop human rights violations. And it works! You can also give a boost to the people we are writing for this year by sending them a personal card or letter. Would you like to help? Join us at the library and grab a pen and paper!
